“Some journeys find you before you ever set foot on the path.”

This series is both a love letter and a visual diary — a reflection of Morocco’s vivid spirit and my own unexpected connection to it. In 2016, guided by intuition, I crossed the ocean to meet a stranger. That leap of faith led me to my husband, whose roots run deep in this extraordinary land. What began as a single, impulsive act became the start of a lifelong story — one written in light, color, and discovery.

Traveling through Morocco, my camera became both witness and companion. Together we wandered through the labyrinthine medinas, across the vast silence, and along streets pulsing with rhythm and life. Every frame reveals a dialogue between place and emotion — the warmth of human connection, the intricate geometry of craftsmanship, the harmony between past and present.

These photographs capture more than landscapes or architecture; they hold memory, energy, and spirit. They remind me that photography, like love, is both an act of faith and recognition — a way of saying yes to the moment before you fully understand it.
