La Gran Plaza — Fort Worth

I’ve always been drawn to stories — they’re what I live for. The story of who someone is, where they come from, and what brought them to this exact moment. That sense of curiosity is what first pulled me toward photographing people at La Gran Plaza in Fort Worth.

This place hums with life — families, workers, dreamers, strangers passing by — each carrying an entire world within them. I stand outside the mall with my camera, observing, listening, waiting for a glance or gesture that feels like truth.

These portraits aren’t about perfection or composition; they’re about connection. Every face holds a fragment of a story I’ll never fully know — and that mystery keeps me looking, keeps me coming back. For me, photography is a way of honoring people as they are, in the moments they might never realize are extraordinary.
